AutoComplete component for ASP.NET Core 2.1 Razor webform with Entity Framework Core

I built a small ASP.NET Core 2.1 website with Entity Framework Core, I have a small SQL Server database with a table and info.

I also have Razor pages that handle the CRUD operations of this information. I want to add a textbox with autocomplete option, that will display the database results while the user is typing the string in the textbox.

I wrote a method at the web page code behind that get a string and retrieves the values from the database.

But I'm not sure how to connect it to the client side, I tried to do it with jQuery with no success.

Is there a free known component that I can use?

Is there a simple way to do it and someone can send a link with implementation example?
