How can I utilize pydub to scan a folder of mp3 files, and automatically convert any file with a sample rate of 48khz to 44.1khz?

I deal with mp3's a lot, and MOST of them are 44.1khz mp3's of varying bitrates. When editing audio, the two sample rates can't exist in the same session, so they have to be converted on the fly. It's very disruptive to my workflow. I would love a way to scan a folder of MP3's, detect the sample rates, and automatically convert everything to 44.1khz. I'm new to python. How hard would this be to do?
