Should I switch from Windows 10 to Linux if I have no interest in programming or customization?

I only ever hear about Linux being good for programming and if you want to heavily customize things, but what about for average every day use? I mainly just use my PC to play games and research whatever comes to mind. I've been using windows since Vista and it's all I'm used to, I don't have any problems with it other than Windows 10 crap installed on your PC by default, I feel like they use resources.

Would Linux be a good switch if I'm comfortable with Windows already and am not a developer? I know nothing about coding, sometimes I feel like trying to learn a little bit but I never really engage. I mostly play games and shit, would it be better to just stick with Windows as that's what I'm most comfortable using?

Sorry, I couldn't find a better flair for this post.
