Mouse Acceleration on Linux

I am using Arch Linux, and I just found out that mouse acceleration is turned on by default. I guess it isn't that weird, since it's also turned on by default on Windows. On Linux, the mouse acceleration is set very high, and even on the lowest DPI setting my mouse is way too fast and inaccurate, so I decided to disable it and now the mouse speed is so low I had to crank it up to my 3/4 DPI setting.

I'm not a gamer, so disabling mouse acceleration wouldn't really matter to me much, so maybe I could fine-tune my mouse acceleration? Do you use mouse acceleration?
